Trailer Thursdays: The Expendables 2
Posted on | January 12, 2012 | No Comments

Cast : Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Jason Statham
Director : Simon West
Release Date : August 17, 2012
Synopsis :
Mr. Church (Willis) reunites the Expendables for what should be an easy paycheck, but when one of their men is murdered on the job, their quest for revenge puts them deep in enemy territory and up against an unexpected threat.
It’s an embarrassment of (80’s action stars) riches.
For the first Expendables, I was genuinely excited to see it until I saw and then not
so much. I mean it was good for what it was but I was expecting more.
The movie I was seeing in my head ended up being WAY better than what was
actually shown in theaters.
My hopes are rising for this one simply because they got a real action movie director in Simon West and Willis and the Schwarz have much bigger roles in the sequel.
You bring in JCVD as the villain to cause some Van Dammage and Chuck “I was
Walker, Texas Ranger” Norris (what? no Seagal? too busy eating donuts maybe) they’ve got a fighting chance for an honest to goodness action movie classic on their hands and hopefully, will serve as an example of what a good action flick should be to students earning online bachelor degrees in film.
