Trailer Thursdays: Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance

Posted on | September 8, 2011 | No Comments

Cast : Nicolas Cage, Fergus Riordan, Idris Elba, Christopher Lambert.
Director : Neveldine/Taylor (Brian Taylor & Mark Neveldine)
Release Date : February 17, 2012

Synopsis :

Johnny Blaze still struggles with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter,
is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited
by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy from the devil.

At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider,
but it is the only way to protect the boy – and possibly rid himself
of his curse forever.

What a terrible terrible movie the first Ghost Rider was.

Another phoned in performance/pay check movie from the
once capable Nic Cage.

But … for this sequel, high hopes I do have since they’ve hired
Neveldine/Taylor, the crazy bastards behind those
demented Crank movies.

They possess an amazing visual style which they’ve put to good use as you can
see in the trailer:

He pisses fire for fuck sake!

Clearly, Columbia Pictures already has my 8$ come February 17th.
