My Year-End Lists Of 2010

2010 will be remembered for me as the year 2 of my favorite bands
(Autolux and The Posies) released new albums.
I’m sure it’s a shock to absolutely no one that Transit Transit
would be #1 on my list.
It took awhile to grow on me even though I knew most of the songs

KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic where host Jason Bentley tried with all
is might to get anything out of them but me thinks they had just rolled out
of bed and they were still half awake at that point.

They fucking rocked.
How’s that for a review.
They were all smiles and kind of chatty which is very un-Autolux like if
you’ve seen them perform live before.
They played their new album “Transit Transit” in it’s entirety with a few
choice cuts from “Future Perfect”.
We got to witness Greg Edwards, in piano man mode singing his very Beatles-esque
song “Spots”.
