With his trusted DJ Teelo and a bassist/keyboardist at his side, Shad conquered
the Montreal Jazz Fest last nite.

A setlist consisting of songs from his new and just short listed for the Polaris
Music Prize (2nd time in a row for Mr. Kabango) album “TSOL” and songs from
his previous LP “The Old Prince”.

Killer wordplay, amazing flow and mad freestyle skills to match (even dropping
a few french rhymes on us pleasing the Quebecois crowd in attendance) there’s
a reason why he’s considered the best MC in Canuckland right now if not in the
whole darn Hip Hop world.

Check out an interview Shad and DJ Teelo did for AUX TV’s Strange Notes
hosted by Alexisonfire’s frontman George Pettit last January.

They talk about their start in the game and also assess the state of
the Hip Hop scene right now with a few performance thrown in the
mix aswell.
