Post-rock enthusists Caspian are back with the release of their 2nd album
titled “Tertia” which comes out August 7 in all of Europe and 4 days
later here in North America.

At 10 tracks and just about an hour of new intrumental music, giving us
post rock lovers quite the bang for our bucks.

They’ve often been compared to Austin’s Explosions In The Sky and rightly
so as both bands creates similar sonic, atmospheric landscapes and in love
with distorted chords, feedback and big, bombastic crescendos but I just
feel that Caspian has that extra Oomph in them with an added shoegazian
dissonance that EitS lacks.

Much like EitS, Caspian must be experienced live. You’ll get a chance
to at the end of August as an Northeast mini-tour is in the works in conjuncture
will the album’s release. Then on to Europe for 6 weeks starting at the beginning of September.

Here’s a track from the new album titled “Of Foam And Wave”.

You can pre-order the album here. They’ve also posted a trailer
promoting “Tertia” on YouTube.
